Sylvia Mooney

Happy Hours was established by Sylvia in 1998. Sylvia managed a Montessori School & After School Service for five years. In 2003 Sylvia expanded Happy Hours to offer Nursery Care & Full Day Care in addition to Montessori. 

In September 2010 Sylvia expanded to open a second preschool in Tullamore.

Sylvia is qualified at level 4, 5 & 6 in Early Childhood Education & Advanced Supervision in Childcare.  Also holding diplomas in Montessori Teaching, Child Psychology & Teacher Training. 

Sylvia constantly attends refresher courses and seminars and she holds a number of other qualifications including child development, child protection, quality improvement, child behavior, business management, health & safety, nutrition for children, Food Safety & First Aid.

Sylvia’s personal time is usually dedicated to outdoor activities. Sylvia loves a challenge & will try anything once. 



 

Nichola Mooney

Nichola manages our Montessori School in Grand Canal.


Nichola has been working as a child care professional in Happy Hours since 2003. Nichola holds F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 in Early Childhood Education & F.E.T.A.C. Level 6 Advanced Supervision in Childcare. 


Nichola attends training courses regularly to up-skill. Nichola also holds a level 5 certificate in First Aid. Certificates in speech & language, child behavior, programme planning, creative music, food safety & Buntas.

In Nichola’s spare time she likes walking her dog Bez, horse riding & baking.

Liz Rushe

Liz has been part of our team since 2004. Liz holds F.E.T.A.C. level 5 in Early Childhood Education & is currently studying F.E.T.A.C. Level 6 Advanced Supervision in Childcare. 

Liz also holds certificates in Child Protection, After School Support, Buntas & First Aid. 

Liz has three children who tend to take up most of her spare time but she enjoys gardening, shopping & catching up with her friends.

Kelly Edwards 

Kelly joined Happy Hours in July of 2009. Kelly holds a BA (hons) degree in early Childhood Education from the Dublin Institute of technology. 

Kelly also holds a valid First Aid Certificate and continues to up skill and attend training seminars regularly. 

Kelly enjoys cooking, walking, reading  & playing tennis in her personal time.

Paula Connelly

Paula joined our team in April of 2010. Paula holds F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 in Early Childhood Education & F.E.T.A.C. Level 6 Advanced Supervision in Childcare. 

Paula also holds a valid Level 5 First Aid Certificate and regularly attends training courses.

Paula is involved in GAA & enjoys sports & spending her leisure time with family. Paula is currently on maternity leave & we wish her all the best.

Breda Cully

Breda joined Happy Hours in April of 2009. 
Breda holds a F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 certificate in Caring for  Children with Special Needs

along with F.E.T.A.C  Level 6 Advanced Supervision in Childcare.

Breda has two daughters and one grandson "Bobby". In her personal time she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, reading & spending time with her family.

 




Zaneta Nyskovska



Zaneta joined our team in Sept 2010. She is motivated, entusiastic & fun.



Zaneta is qualified in FETAC Level 6 Advanced Supervision in Childcare & in her spare time she likes horse riding, & reading. Zaneta also enjoys sports & movies. 
 








Cara is also part of our team. Cara is obedience trained & loves the attention she gets from all the children!!
